We Belong

IMG_3737.PNG

"We Belong" explores sense of belonging, identity and growth, made with and for stateless refugee children in Thailand. This film aims to embody themes of displacement, social injustice and marginalisation.

According to the U.N., there are over 10 million stateless people around the world, who are at risking of facing a lifetime of obstacles and disappointment due to the difficulty in accessing basic human rights such as healthcare, employment and freedom of movement. This work also responds to the current movement #IBELONG to end the statelessness by the UN Refugee Agency.
